Here we are 1/4 of the way into 2018 and if you’re like me, the speed at which things are changing on the Internet can boggle the mind. New and relevant this year are things like “Chatbots, “AI”, Schema Markup”, “Rich Snippets”, and “Voice Search” and it isn’t all just buzz and hype. These things are already having an impact on how any individual website performs on the web and especially in search results. It’s a part of my job and my responsibility to keep up with these changes and to make decisions that will ultimately have an effect on how well our client’s sites perform in search results and in general. If you are here reading this then it is likely that you also have a similar responsibility and I wanted to share this with you today.
This is a collection of 20 recent SEO Infographics that I found useful for one reason or another. Now before I go on, I want to be clear about Infographics. I am a fan, but Infographics are built by so many people these days that one must take them all individually and with a grain of salt. I’m sure that everyone means well, but historically Infographics are a quick and easy piece of content that can be created and shared easily. They are almost always click-bait. This is not to say that the information is wrong…just that the information is pulled from various sources (not all of them skilled and/or reputable) by different people from all different levels of skill and experience with the information contained in the infographic, in this case the topic is SEO.
I present all of these here today with the intent to provide you with a collective overview of the state of SEO in 2018 and an overview and insight into multiple minds and SEO disciplines. Taken collectively and tempered with a bit of common sense and rationale, you should take away a better understanding of the SEO landscape than you came with.
I hope that you do take a minute with each of these and that you browse them all. *NOTE: If you just click on the image it will open and still be too small to read (Some of these are really large images). RIGHT CLICK each image and then “Open image in a new tab/window” and you can see them each in full size.
Enjoy the Infographics and the rest of your day!
